The CAPS EL Series comes in 4 different tank sizes. The Model Number denotes the volume capacity of the Tank in US gallons. A Specific tank size is usually recommended based on the working face of your site or area needed to be covered. 
CAPS 900 EL900 gallons / 3,400 liters 
CAPS 1200 EL1200 gallons / 4,550 liters Consider these factors when determining the Tank size ordered:How often do you want to load the machine? (every day – every other day) increase savings in labor with a bigger machine Do you want to use for controlling blowing litter to tack down litter during the day? Consider a slightly larger tank size then you need so you have plenty of material to spray without having to mix another load. Will you use the machine for spray applying seed (hydro seeding) to outside slopes or other areas? If so consider that the larger the machine size, the bigger the area you can cover without having to refill the machine.
