Durability and Toughness...that’s what the entire line of ProGuard Covers are all about. Withstanding almost everything Mother Nature can throw your way, our covers do what they’re supposed to be doing: Providing your landfill with the highest quality daily cover at the lowest application cost.
And when it comes to the ultimate in strength and resilience, nothing comes close to NWC’s ConCover 180.
Designed to last for extended periods of time and in extreme weather conditions, ConCover 180 has proven itself over and over again.
During tests at a New Jersey Superfund site, ConCover 180 survived 3 days under the rushing water of the Passaic river, while being subjected to the full force of Hurricane Floyd, (Sept 2000) - and still survived intact! Apply ConCover 180 in All Weather Conditions
When the chemical agents of ConCover 180 are mixed in our machines, its special components are activated - with a slight exothermic reaction taking place, driving off moisture until setting and curing on the landfill surface. The advantages of using this type of technology is that ConCover 180 can be applied in the middle of rain storms, without losing its water repelling properties.
However, due the special properties of ConCover 180, even though the cover cures and hardens within 90 minutes of mixing, it will rehydrate when exposed to rain. This allows it to resist cracking and drying out, due to instances when the underlying surface changes shape.

ConCover 180 Impermeability:
Tested by an independent laboratory to have a 10-6 impermeability rating, when the 180 cover cures with its “magic air bubbles” an insulating blanket is created which is 99% impervious to gases, moisture and odors.
This means the ConCover 180 can be a far more cost effective replacement as a temporary cover on landfills or remediation piles than plastics or geotextiles.
Perfect for Seeding in Extreme Conditions
ConCover provides a water permeable barrier for protecting seedlings throughout the germination process. The advanced polymers, bonded fiber matrix, and unique chemistry outlast typical mulch & tackifiers or other hydromulching materials in keeping the seed safe - saving you money in both the short & long run.
Here’s what Arrowhead Contracting in Texas has to say about our ConCover’s superior seeding capabilities.
“During extreme Texas climate conditions, NWC helped us develop a seeding approach that not only offered superior protection, but maintained a sufficient nutrient balance during the critical germination & rooting phase.”

Increasing Durability, Strength and Versatility
The ConCover line of products, which include ConCover 180 and ConCover SW, can be further enhanced by using a strengthening additive. Our additives can extend a cover’s life, make it more water resistant – or both! Find out more about our Cover Additives…
For over 20 years the ConCover Brand has been the most recognized on the market – known for being the toughest cover available. If you want the ultimate in cover protection and service, then ConCovers are your first and only choice.
“We measured nearly a 100% increase of turf establishment over standard hydroseeding techniques when using ConCover products”
